The Texas Historical Commission and Starr Family Home State Historic Site invites you to a very special Gravestone Care Workshop and Twilight Cemetery Tour in the historic Greenwood Cemetery in Marshall, Texas, on October 1, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Come and learn how to properly clean and care for gravestones with James “Rusty” Brenner, owner and craftsperson of Cemetery Preservation Supply LLC and Texas Cemetery Restoration LLC.

The event will begin with hands-on demonstrations and discussions of cemetery preservation lead by cemetery conservator, James “Rusty” Brenner.  Then stay for a twilight tour of the historic Greenwood Cemetery.  The workshop and tour are both free and will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Greenwood Cemetery is located behind ETBU, at the intersection of East Avenue and One Tiger Drive in Marshall, TX.
